I was at the JFK show in Philly. The only thing I remember was that is was way too hot that day. The 2nd set with Dylan was lacking....The show at Giants Stadium a few days later was nice with Dew opening set 2 (at least we got 2 GD sets that day)

I was at the Foxboro show. Was one of the harshest dead parking lot scenes I ever witnessed. Actually saw some guys Micro bus on fire after the show and had to evade large fireworks shooting through the parking lot! I've never bothered to listen to any of the recordings but even in my youthful exuberance I remember being underwhelmed with the Dylan stuff and the Dead's mini show never quite getting off the ground. Guess I should actually listen to the recording someday just to make sure it wasn't some kind of brown acid reaction or something.

Geez, sounds like it was a warzone. Underwhelmed - good description. I think we've all experienced that with one concert or another.

Thanks!
Though I think many of the reviews attached to other copies overstate how well this show was done, I sure had a good time. I drove from nowhere, NC to a friends house in another city to road trip together, but he had to bail in favor of work of all things. I went the long way to get my own accoutrements and came close to spending the weekend with the boys in blue when I got pulled over, but tragedy was narrowly averted, and I went on my longest road trip thus far solo. It was hot, but friendly, and I got to visit family as a surprise visit on the way home. It helped me maintain some sanity during my days in the wilderness.

Thanks again Charlie you’ve made these both shine
That summer with Dylan was a mighty fine time
I loved every minute and saw every show
Though departing from Foxboro was really slow

We sweated a lot at old JFK
And I dearly love Terrapin – just thought I’d say
Dylan and Jerry – I’m so glad I went
And again for the record I truly loved Brent.

That’s all that I’ll say – I’m done being silly.
Thirty years to the day – saw my first show in Philly
Don’t remember it well and will say no more
Caught the train home before the encore.

This soundboard’s still streaming – has me shaking my hips
Enjoy if you wanna – it’s now a Road Trips
